オランダ出身アーティストZEDZが、２０１５年の３月から２０１６年の４月までの間に日本国内で残して来た作品を振り返ります。都内のシルクスクリーンスタジオで作成した”Unique Edition”シリーズ、そこから派生的に生まれたZineやＣＤジャケットデザイン、さらに千葉県松戸市の公園でのペイントの記録。また今年の３月に国内で制作し、先日オープンした宮城県多賀城市の図書館へ収蔵されるパブリックアート作品の記録と、そのプロセス段階で制作された立体作品。そして現在（４月初頭）、埼玉県志木市のFUGスケートパークにペイント中の３０ｍに渡るミューラルの記録と、同パターンがデザインされたMr. Seriousとのコラボレーションプロダクト。このように、ひとつのプロジェクトが新たなプロジェクトに繋がり、その過程から派生した作品やプロダクトを含め、数々の作品を残して来ました。本展、PROCESS & RESULTでは、それらの作品やプロダクトの販売、また制作過程から完成までの記録を展示いたします。
また、昨年ZEDZが自主出版した、過去２５年以上に渡るグラフィティ作品とスケッチなどが収録された”ZEDZ Blackbook Unvailed”（直筆サイン、エディション付き）も販売いたします。
On show will be a selection of works by visual artist Zedz created in Japan between March 2015 and April 2016. Zedz applies his geometric abstracted graphic language to diverse media, including prints, reliefs, products and public works. The works start from silkscreen “Unique Edition” series produced in a studio in Tokyo, which lead to a CD cover design and a mural painted in Matsudo city last year. Another public work produced in March 2016 and to be installed at newly opening library in Tagajo city, Miyagi, and smaller relief pieces produced in the process of making the bigger piece. And ongoing mural works in FUG skate park in Shiki city, Saitama, and collaboration products by Mr. Serious which share the pattern design.
One project leads to an another, and the process produce different pieces. In this exhibition, PROCESS & RESULT, the process and result in various projects are displayed.
“ZEDZ Blackbook Unvailed” -the book that demonstrates a cut through of 25 years of graffiti making and style development, released in 2015 with edition of 750 copies, signed and numbered, will also be available at the exhibition.
